Maintain consistent color and accurate placement of corrugated board ink printing

The main reasons for the inconsistency of the printing color and the running of the version are the poor control of the viscosity of the ink, the unstable ink transfer state, the unstable paper feeding state, and the poor flatness of the cardboard. In order to maintain the consistent color and accurate placement of corrugated cardboard ink printing, the following points must be done:

1. Keep the ink viscosity stable

Ink viscosity is the main indicator that needs to be controlled in corrugated cardboard printing, and it is one of the main factors affecting the printing color condition. Due to the volatilization of the ink solvent during the printing process, its viscosity will increase. In order to maintain the stability of the ink viscosity, the ink stabilizer should be added every 0.5 hours to 1 hour, and the addition amount is 1% to 2%.

2. Keep the ink transfer volume stable

Because the printing speed is related to the ink transfer state, it is necessary to keep the printing speed balanced and stable, and it cannot be fast or slow. It is also necessary to keep the paper evenly, and the phenomenon of inter-sheet feeding cannot occur. Only in this way can the ink printing machine have a stable ink transfer state, which plays an important role in maintaining the stability of the ink printing color.

3. Keep the feeding state stable

In addition to the stable running speed of the printing press, the manual feeding point should be fixed. For the cardboard with poor flatness, it should be properly handled, such as folding along one side (or both sides) of the horizontal pressure line of the cardboard; pressing and feeding by hand, etc. The gap between the guides should be consistent, which is an important link related to maintaining the stable operation of the cardboard, and an important method to solve the "running" phenomenon.

4. Keep the printing equipment in good condition

Keeping the anilox roller and printing plate clean and clean is directly related to the printing effect. Because the anilox roller is related to the ink transfer performance, the printing plate is related to the clarity of the printed words and patterns.

Improve die cutting accuracy

With the continuous enrichment of the carton printing process and the continuous improvement of the processing speed, the problems exposed by the die-cutting process are increasing day by day. Reasonably controlling the generation of waste products in the die-cutting process is another major issue to reduce the production cost of corrugated boxes. The reasons why the position of the die-cutting indentation line does not match the position of the printed product are as follows:

1. The error of the die-cutting knife plate production process

At present, there are two main methods for making die-cutting knife plates: manual plate-making and laser plate-making. The laser plate-making precision is relatively high, and the design and cutting are completed by computer and machinery, which is suitable for die-cutting of medium and high-grade packaging. The manual plate-making method has high requirements on the technical level of the plate-maker, and the plate-making machine is affected by various factors such as the technical level and experience of the plate-maker, and is suitable for medium and short version packaging with low precision requirements. Therefore, in order to obtain good die-cutting accuracy, advanced plate-making methods must be selected.

2. The rules of the cardboard mouth are different

All die-cutting machines themselves will produce precision errors. To improve the precision of die-cutting and indentation, a high-precision die-cutting machine must be selected. If there is a large error in the specifications of the cardboard gripper, it may be that the rear positioning (also known as secondary positioning) of the die-cutting machine is too small, which can be solved by adjusting the rear positioning and increasing the rear positioning toggling distance.

3. The die-cutting indentation and the printed grid are not aligned

The solution is to re-calibrate the die-cutting plate according to the product requirements, and set the positive printing and die-cutting indentation positions. In addition, it can also be corrected by adjusting the positioning rule on the paper conveying side or the front positioning rule, so that the die-cutting indentation line is registered with the printing grid position.

4. Die-cutting indentation is different from the printing working environment, causing the cardboard fiber to deform or stretch

It should be ensured that the die-cutting indentation and the printing are carried out in the same working environment or the identity of the working environment (that is, the same temperature, humidity, etc.).
